CTO Terminal Software

Revised: May 8, 2006

Q. What are the major differences between CTO Terminal and CTO 2000 clients?
A.

CTO Terminal is a more interactive, comprehensive program designed for larger organizations and Airlines, whereas CTO 2000 is designed to be used by all operators right from a single aircraft, private owner to a multi-aircraft airline.

Q. Does CTO Terminal have more features than CTO 2000?
A.

CTO Terminal actually has fewer features but it's main advantage is that it is an interactive program. CTO Terminal does not have an Ops board interface or access to the graphical weather charts.

Q. Do I need any special requirements for CTO Terminal?
A.

CTO Terminal will run on any Pentium class computer running a Windows platform operating system that has a connection to the Internet.

Q. Should I use CTO Terminal for my airline or should I use CTO 2000?
A.

If you are running a complex operation with a large fleet of aircraft we would recommend CTO Terminal. If you are unsure of which application would be best suited for your organization, our staff would be happy to help you determine the best choice.

Q. I am having troubles connecting to the CTO Terminal Server, I have been told Skyplan's main Internet connection to the Server is down, What should I do?
A.

If Skyplan's main Internet connection for the CTO Terminal servers is down, you can switch over to the secondary Internet connection to the server:

  1. Log off of CTO Terminal,

  2. Open the Settings dialog box under the Config menu,

  3. Under CTO Terminal, change RemoteHost to:

    • cto2.skyplan.com (68.146.204.64)

  4. Log back on to CTO Terminal.

NOTE: Please ensure you change back to the primary Internet connection, cto1.skyplan.com (66.225.128.221), once it has been restored.
