In a perfect world you pick your departure time, file your flight plan, your passengers show up on schedule, both the check and engine start are smooth, you are immediately cleared, and you are in the air exactly on time.

Unfortunately, the real word is usually something different.

Filing the flight plan and coordinating with ATC is the easy part, but it also has the most operational risk. The ATC plan is usually filed first, which makes it vulnerable to a multitude of things that can go wrong in all the events that need follow. And if you try and file at the last possible moment, after everything is in place, you run the risk of being stuck at the back of the line for airport and route slot clearances.

Skyplan is your expert background manager for your ATC coordination. Not only do we keep in touch with you, we also maintain constant communications with your ground handlers (both at your current location and down line stations), airport authorities, ATC route control, and at the same time, we are keeping abreast of weather conditions that might affect your flight. Any of these factors can have a major effect on your clearance and force you in to the position of having to sit on the ramp waiting for ATC to reschedule your trip. You best chance you have to keep your operation and your passengers on time, is to stay ahead of any potential problems. Skyplan has the resources, communications network and contacts to insure that when something starts to slip; all your ATC issues are properly managed.
